We are very exited to release this plugin. We have been looking at transactional email and the importance of making sure that that email gets delivered. You know – those fun emails that notify you that you did buy something and that the product did ship so you can stay home from work and wait for the UPS guy to show up.
So our friends at Wildbit have been working on a better way to deliver transactional emails. They are calling it Postmark.
We thought it would be fun to build a plugin for Magento that uses the service. I have to say that even though the service is in beta and Chris is assuring us that there are a lot more features that need to go in to make the service better, we already love it and have clients on it. You can get the plugin in Magento Connect. Since postmark is in private beta you will have to ask the guys from Wildbit for an invite. Be nice to them.
